Father-daughter duo Keerthi Pandian and Arun Pandian team up again after Anbirkiniyal (2021) for an action thriller drama titled Akkenam. Keerthi plays a cab driver in Chennai named Indira, while Arun Pandian plays a person seeking revenge after coming out of jail. Directed by debutant Uday K, the film follows three interconnected characters seeking revenge, similar to Maanagaram (2017).
